PALISADE, COLORADO
IF THIS ISN’T HEAVEN
WE DON’T WANT TO GO
There’s something other-worldly about our little valley town, embraced by its huge mesas and the Colorado river running through the middle. Nestled 4,727 or so feet up in the Colorado high desert, its unique microclimate of brilliant sunny days and cool, star-lit nights cause the fruits and grains that grow here to ripen into pure magic.
We’re about as local as it gets. In fact, we can see many of the trees our ingredients grow on from our distillery door.
LONG DAYS OF BLAZING SUN…
GIVE WAY TO CRISP DESERT NIGHTS…
and encourage the trees in our little valley to output extraordinary amounts of sugar, resulting in the plumpest, sweetest fruits known to man, which works out pretty nicely when that’s exactly what we need to create the finest spirits on earth. And since we are blessed with a bounty of such remarkable ingredients, we are able to dig deeper and create flavors other distillers couldn’t dream of.
THERE’S SOMETHING OTHER-WORLDLY
ABOUT THIS LITTLE MESA TOWN
Maybe it’s how those inescapable Mesas embrace the Colorado River to create a micro-climate unlike any other. Maybe it’s the the hard-callused, tell-it -like-it-is and do-it-the-right-way mentality of the locals. Maybe it’s those cave etchings on the edge of town. Whatever it is, you’d be hard pressed to find a place as mysterious or magical as Palisade.
